    2 items left

Mini Hemp Small Animal Bedding. Suitable for all hoofed animals, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles, chicken and birds. Hemp bedding materials like Mini-Hemp are an entirely natural renewable resource grown without pesticides and processed without chemical additives. Mini-Hemp is biodegradable and will decompose into a quality mulch or compost because it originates from an annual plant. It is not palatable due to its limited nutrient content. Great care has been taken to clean and refine each bag of Mini-Hemp to ensure a consistent product.

    Benefits of Hemp Bedding

    HIGHLY ABSORBENT

Mini-Hemp® is capable of absorbing far more moisture than either straw or wood shavings, and any wet areas that do have to be removed are small by comparison. It makes a warm and comfortable bed that provides good insulation against cold and protection against injury.

    LOW ODOUR

Mini-Hemp® also absorbs ammonia very efficiently, reducing its harmful effects on the respiratory system, and reduces odour.

    DUST EXTRACTED

Dust and spores are extracted from Mini-Hemp® to provide a cleaner environment. This is particularly important for animal with respiratory problems. Mini-Hemp® is regularly batch tested for dust and spores counts by independent laboratory.

    ECONOMICAL TO USE

Less Mini-Hemp® is needed to do the same job as other litters. With Mini-Hemp® high absorbency, wet areas tend to be smaller and noticeable less often. It is easy to use and cost effective.

    LABOUR SAVING

Mini-Hemp® bedding or litter box is quick and easy to maintain, staying drier and lasting longer than conventional materials. It should be disturbed as little as possible, with the wet material removed as required.

    EASY DISPOSAL

Mini-Hemp® creates only a small manure heap, which rots down into quality garden compost in just a few weeks. This compares very favourably with the long time it takes straw, shaving and particularly clay or diatomaceous earth, to decompose
